Bentonite is a natural clay derived from volcanic ash from Redmond, Utah. Hydrated Bentonite is made using micro-fine, USP-grade bentonite which is hydrated by suspending the clay in purified water.

Bentonite is very “adsorbent,” meaning substances stick to the outside of the structure, usually because of opposite ionic charges, rather than being sucked inside as with “absorbent” materials. Bentonite’s negatively-charged electrical attraction for positively-charged toxins and radiation gives it the adsorbing quality necessary for attracting and neutralizing these poisons in the intestinal tract. This action helps purify the blood and thus, the entire body. Another benefit of bentonite is that parasites are unable to reproduce in the presence of clay. In general, Hydrated Bentonite is an effective and easy means with which to cleanse toxins from the system.

Bentonite helps relieve constipation and diarrhea, and has been used as an effective colon cleanser. Bentonite has also helped eliminate food allergies, food poisoning, mucus colitis, parasites, spastic colitis, and viral infections, such as stomach flu. Bentonite can be used for tooth brushing, and applied on the eyes or on bruises, sores and other painful areas.

Enemas or herbal laxatives are recommended when using hydrated bentonite internally.
